Nectarie at clarke quay for some sweetings. came once here with hubba before :) i had the strawberry strudel below with omfg amount of cream and gwenny had their specialty: Banana white choco cake. Ermz. jo also had bird shit drop on her hand amidst eating. it was warm and mushie. and the smell 2 seconds after the incident was BAD. indescribably so. enough said. though the "open air" seatings were sheltered if you've been to clarke before, you'd know - but somehow a birdie sneaked in. ;)thankfully, i was not seating in that fated seat. rofl.jojo could not stand it anymore that way and HAD to peep at mr. mysterious. so me and gwenny accompany our dear to Funan for that chanced meeting. hee. SO EXCITING!! jo was so nervous she could not stop giggling and walking rounds around Funan. tsk. SCANDALOUS. mr. mysterious is alright i guess. cant say much from the first meeting. jojo nearly had a fit and almost start spasming there and then, when he arrived. woOt!caught red handed! sms-ing mr. mysterious *dokidoki!camwhoring away in the loo & everywhere else, so that jo can calm her nerves before meeting mr. mysterious ^.^ p/s funan guys appeared to have never seen girls before as the 3 of us made our rounds in the mall before the meetupDinner's at Chijmes! Harry's Gastro. The Margarita was damn cheap during happy hour! $32 per jug. approx. 6 glasses. main courses are at $15!! SMU students have 20% off. woot! this was kindly informed by the extremely flirtatious waiter. but he served us iced water upon request even though it was only allowed for red wine orders. cannot believe he called me whats up baby somewhere in the midst of dinner. *major goosebumps* and still say i owe him the 20% when we left. o.Othe night was so romanticMetup with na and shar on Tuesday! makan at Sakura in far east before making our way to the Big O. lol. think we luffed our guts out there talking about the most hilarious thingys. also learnt a new perspective on men's brazilian wax which i failed to realize before! hehhe. poor na was extremely unwell due to some food poisoning from dumplings. and the poor girl still tong so long! x.Xshar taught me a new cammie function only canon ixus can perform! and i cant believe i didnt realize until now - the ability to accentuate on a particular color and make everything else remain black and white.chocolate durian cakie on LHS and choco cheesecake on RHS.went Marks and Spencer's along the way after Big O's to get some nams nams for hubba :)Metup with hubba after our gathering and makan dinner at Vivo. i eat so many things nobody believe me. sad. i hate myself.hehh. trying out cammie's newly discovered function again. looks like a haunted foodcourt belowHere are some wayyy overdue piccies! the restaurant cum cookbook store at Outram which i was mentioning about previously!! the food is SO SO good. and the mudpie tops every mudpie i've ever had - including the one at hog's. haa. it is ohh-so-good.hubba and me took the opportunity to sight-see around the area. New Majestic was there as well :)can you believe the shophouses below are COMPANIES? damn. i wana work here! the entire stretch of road are bunglow-like, quaint, cottagy shophouses that have been converted into companies - amazing. wish i work there - its so peaceful. hubba works in the area though :) and he doesn't appreciate such surroundings! gahh. he thinks its "so-so" -_-at riverview for some lunch buffet ^.^ im eating so much!! =(hanging out at Central :) i realize we like to hang at areas where there are alot of water around hee. eg. But overall, i felt it was pretty good. learnt quite alot of useful stuffies! like google reader, technorati yada yadaa. never did really see the huge impact blogs can bring - but wow. and i got an A on my case analysis which really got me on a high for quite some days cuz its been so long since i ever SEE an A - like ever. think of it as playing real mahjong, and getting a 13yao. YES - it is that rare. kind of boost my low morale and reaffirm to myself that i can write? i guess.And prof invited me to do a podcast with him on this site call ForImmediateRelease. Will only be on for approx. 5minutes though where I give my opinion on how we have two polar reactions from both the Chinese government and Burmese junta in terms of social media regarding the SiChuan quake and Cyclone Nargis. It will probably be out next week. Perhaps i'll blog about the controversies next time. lol.it is sort of hard to explain but I felt that my efforts in the course was reciprocated in a way. Always felt prof was an extremely nice guy after I screwup BADLY in COMMS101 and he comforted me by telling me about how he used to be a really bad speaker when he was young. To me, he didnt have to do that and cuz of that, i think he is really amazing and kind-hearted!! ROFL. i mean.. ya he maybe a task master at times i guess. but he is still great! **sees na collapsing in shock at this point his class participation is still damn tough i feel. hmm. well it makes me learn new things even amidst everything. and im glad at the way things turn out - regardless of how well i might fare in the end.Do take at look at TED -especially the video below. they have some of the most amazing and insiring talks ever. every now and then, i will go in and take a look at some interesting talks. So be posting up some links soon as well :) Seriously, social media has changed my life in a new way. Looking through all this "intellectual" stuff when I couldnt be bothered to last time - like BLEH rite. and i feel this immense urge to blog or post a thread whenever i see something social media on the news worth sharing about. Interning at barclay's with $3K/month.
