Today was a lazy day for Josh and Me. We laid in bed until about 11:00 and then he got up and I slept all day. Our friends Jesse and Tila went out of town for a couple of days for their anniversary, so we are watching their two weiner dogs, Twister and Daisy. Twister has a bit of an attitude and doesn't really like to play much. He is in love with Spanky and Tila said that we have to watch him or he will 'violate' our cat. Daisy is so cute. She's brown and white speckled and quite the little love bug. She looks like a little bean running around squeezing her squeaky toys. So for the weekend and holiday, we will have 4 dogs and a cat to take care of. Besides sleeping, Josh and I had a Wii day. It's our new addiction and it's so fun to do something together that we both enjoy. We have Madden, sports games, summer olympics, rock band, and the work out games. So we pretty much have a Wii room with all the equipment. I know....we're gay. Whatever. It's fun to act like a kid sometimes. Actually, I heard that they are even using it for the elderly. You don't have to use your legs, just your arms, so for anyone that needs some fun excersize, its great. As for the title of the post, there's a program that comes with it that lets you create people. They don't have any arms, which is weird, but you can pick the size, shape, eyes, hair color and style and all that kind of stuff. They remind me of the little fischer price dudes that we had when we were little. I'm sure they still make those still. Anyway, I went through and created everyone from Grandpa Quint to Havyn and Ryleigh. It really does resemble them! So now when we go to play the baseball game, then the family comes out and plays with us. Grandpa Odle had a great catch and Havyn had TWO home runs!! Jason didn't do much but stay in the outfield, but Heather and Andie both had some great hits. Dad struck out everytime, but Terri batted and made up for him. Mom hit a double, and Perry got out from a pop fly. Ryleigh was a great third baseman, but didn't get to see too much action. Second baseman Grandpa Quint got at least 4 people out. Shea had a single but made it around the bases to score and Jeremy....well, Jeremy fouled out every time, and then was in the outfield running to catch all the other foul balls that anyone else hit. All in all, family, you did really well. I'm impressed. We won 4 to 2.
Now next practice is tomorrow at four, so be prepared to run the bases and practice your throwing . And please, bring your helmets and batting gear. Last time Dad was pitching, I got pegged by the ball. Next game is against Uncle Mike and the Kids (which aren't kids anymore, but for some reason I've always called them that), so put on your game face.PEACE OUT
