The boys and I were there for the first three songs, clapping away, but then the appeal of "kids things" in booths on the other side of the lawn proved more appealing than mom with a flute.

I clipped this paragraph to test out ClipMarks (http://www.clipmarks.com/), a seemingly nice way to highlight web content for easy consumption.
Are there ways to access the CSS? I have an issue with the links on one of my pages because they take on the characteristics of the block links from a list. I can make changes on my end to compensate, but if you could point me to a way to just override or custom-name CSS link behavior, that would be swell.
I presented my first solo paper here. It was also my first "real" trip out of the country. (Can't count Toronto for the All-Star game or a 3-hour border excursion into Mexico.)
Schmedley was one of Meebo's partners that stood out (excluding the few with which I was already familiar). A very nice web-based application to manage a number of common Internet activities within the same application, designed to look like Apples' Dashboard widgets. I've drafted them as a future blog post.
I'm not positive, but I think this is the same Ashley Menger who wrote <a href="http://www.jonkolko.com/writingUserDrivenBrand.php">this article</a> with Jon Kolko of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Kolko is heading up the CHI 2008 Student Design Competition next year in Italy.
I tested LineBuzz further with regard to this front-page problem. The comments are still registering, just not on my site if they are posted from the front page for a new post.
Sports informatics is a very rich area of study, for interaction designers, social informaticians and systems folk alike.
Even if the authors of this work were simply using Ben Shneiderman's tree map concept, and not trying to make it look like a platte map ... it looks like a platte map to me.
I got a copy of this cool map when Joannes came to talk, but I didn't have a place to hang it up. Perhaps it will find a home in the IU School of Informatics Design House this summer.
For some reason, my last LineBuzz comment isn't showing up in the inline comments list on my blog, although it did make it to MyBuzz on the main community site.
If Craig had been a drinking game and "actually" had been the secret word, we'd all be dead from alcohol poisoning.
But other than that and his FedEx-man rapid delivery, it was a very nicely constructed presentation and a cool iteration of a concept.
Unless traditional marketing involves 15 minutes of un-narrated Flicker slideshows.
I think we're going to put this community widget on our links page and rename it "Our Community." This front page is already sort of cluttered now.
I'm preferential to the Kilroy pose I did with the MacBook camera. Maybe I'll change my avatar every year and keep track of the age of registration that way.
Correction: I think the comments are transferring just fine, but not from the excerpts. The description (excerpts) and the content are different objects, though, so it makes sense. It would be very cool if it were possible to make that connection ...
The comment I made from the front page after initially posting this entry made it to the archive page. However, I don't see Amy's reply to this comment.
hey, if spam + blog = splog, why not spam + comment = spomment?
And just like that, LineBuzz fixed the problem.
I've got two domains (.com and .net) pointing to the same blog, and I'm having some difficulty getting rid of the warning messages about the key code. Everything shows up to PHP as .net but not so to LineBuzz. Any ideas?
... unless there are pop-tarts involved
This is my first linebuzz inline comment. I think this rocks!
